Programs >> Post Grad / Tour Prep

This program is designed for players with a verifiable handicap of 9 or better, who are at least 18 years of age. The focus of the program is preparing players to perform at their peak level in competition, whether it be in amateur, college, or professional events. Since each player is different, the actual program a player pursues is customized to their needs. However the structure and emphasis remains constant for all players.

Expectations After 1 Year:

The full year program is the way to make the strongest change in your game. Each player will understand the faults and tendencies in each part of their game, and be able to demonstrate and execute the proper technique in each of those areas. The players equipment will match the players technique to ensure that distance, direction, and feel are at a maximum.

On the physical side, we begin with a full physical evaluation as related to golf. Here any past injuries, poor education of biomechanical movements, lack of strength, poor flexibility, poor propreception, and joint instability will be revealed and a specific training and nutrition program prescribed. Each training session will be thoroughly supervised by our training professionals in order to show the most immediate and self sustaining improvements. In the real world of competitive golf, we recognize the physical demands of todays tournament golfer, and we will guide our players on the right time to train hard or maintain what has been built.

To be mentally tough, you must know what makes you tick as an athlete.  Mentally, each player will learn how to develop the mind of a champion by knowing exactly how to reach peak performance through attitude, mindset, playing process, and preparation.

Periodization

Periodization is the process of varying a training program at regular time intervals to bring about optimal gains in physical performance. Some proven benefits of periodization are improved muscular endurance, strength, power, motor performance, and/or muscle hypertrophy. The goal of our program is to optimize training during short (e.g., weeks, months) as well as long periods of time (e.g., years, a life time, or an athletic career). Using periodization, a golfer is able to attain peak physical performance at a particular point in time, such as for a major tournament. Additionally the athlete is less likely to experience boredom or burnout. Over-training and injury are also prevented.
